Classic country songs from the 1950s and 1960s Are you lonesome tonight? Got heartaches by the number? A hankering for pedal steel guitar, some high lonesome Floyd Cramer piano and that Patsy Cline yodel? Then you gotta hear Lush Country, an all-star band playing the best country songs of the hi-fi era, from Eddy Arnold to Tammy Wynette and back again. The seven members of Lush Country are longtime Twin Cities headliners and Prairie Home Companion veterans: (from left) Joe Savage, Richard Kriehn, Peter Johnson, Gary Raynor, Gary Rue, Prudence Johnson and Dan Chouinard.

Magic Carpet Ride is a musical journey through one of the most electrifying and impactful times America has ever seen. During the summer of 1967 in San Francisco such groups as The Mamas and the Papas, The Doors, The Byrds, Jefferson Airplane and The Beatles inspired a cultural revolution that swept across the country. Summer of Love captures the heart and soul of the era with a dynamic band whose power house vocals and exacting musicianship underscore such classics as “California Dreamin,” “San Francisco,” “Light My Fire,” and “Turn! Turn! Turn!.” Tthe light show itself is a highlight of this experience, with film being created by Ben Krywosz* to accompany each song, using his original elements from his time as designer/operator at Filmore West and other Bay area venues.

Join celebrated Twin Cities' musical performers Gary Rue and Leslie Ball as they host an evening commemorating the 30th anniversary of the film Beyond Bob. The event will feature a performance of the duo's popular tracks from their Rue Nouveau catalog, as well as many other musical surprises.

Following the live performance, settle back and enjoy a 2K restoration of Beyond Bob (100 min.), a romantic-comedy-ghost story which showcases the talents of Leslie Ball, Patrick Coyle, Michael Paul Levin, and Peter Moore. The film has been lovingly restored from its original 16mm negative.
